How to Get Your Licence Key
From payment to Pro — here is exactly how the whole process works.
Purchase OverlayQR Pro
Visit the pricing page and click Get Pro Now — $9. You'll be redirected to the secure DodoPayments checkout. Enter your email and payment details to complete the one-time purchase.
DodoPayments accepts all major credit and debit cards. Your payment is processed securely — we never see your card details.
Receive Your Licence Key by Email
Immediately after payment, DodoPayments automatically sends a unique licence key to your purchase email address. Search your inbox for OverlayQR or DodoPayments. Also check your spam / junk folder.
Can't find it? Log in to the DodoPayments customer portal at app.dodopayments.com to retrieve your key.
Open the OverlayQR Options Page
In Chrome, right-click the OverlayQR icon in the toolbar and choose Options. Alternatively, open the OverlayQR sidebar and click Options in the footer. On the Options page, scroll to the Activation section.
Enter & Activate Your Licence Key
Paste the licence key from your email into the input field and click Activate. The extension securely contacts our backend, which verifies your key directly with DodoPayments. If the key is valid, OverlayQR Pro is instantly unlocked on your device.
Your licence works on all your Chrome browsers and devices.
How Licence Validation Works
We believe in full transparency about how your data is handled. Here is exactly what happens when you activate OverlayQR Pro:

- 2Our backend calls the DodoPayments API to verify whether the key is valid and active.
- 3DodoPayments returns the validation result, which is passed back to your extension.
- 4If valid, the Pro status is stored locally in your browser only.
Zero Data Storage — 100% DodoPayments
We do not store your licence key, your email address, or any personal information on our servers. We do not maintain a database of users or purchases. All licence validation is handled entirely and exclusively by DodoPayments. If DodoPayments says the key is valid, you get Pro. If not, you don't. It is as simple as that.
Common Questions
I didn't receive the email — what do I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, log in to the DodoPayments customer portal at app.dodopayments.com to view your purchase and retrieve your licence key.
Can I use one key on multiple devices?
Yes. Your licence key works across all your Chrome browsers and devices.
My key says 'invalid' — why?
Make sure you copied the full key without any extra spaces. If the problem persists, check the DodoPayments portal to confirm your purchase was completed successfully.
Do you store my email or payment details?
No. We have zero access to your payment or personal details. Everything is handled by DodoPayments. We don't even have a user database — validation is entirely delegated to DodoPayments.
What if I want a refund?
Please contact DodoPayments support directly, as they process all payments and hold your purchase records.
